E&P is the DWCA’s quarterly newsletter, and is available to members as either:

• Eight B&W A5 photocopied pages, posted to your door; or
• A colour A4 PDF emailed to you. Oh, and it will usually be more than 8 pages.

The PDF version is the best way to get E&P, and it’s more environmentally friendly. If you want to receive E&P by email, you’ll need to email the editor at the address below, using the email address your copy of E&P will be going to (thus eliminating typos).

So what might you find in a typical issue of E&P?

• News – What’s what with Who.
• Fan Fiction – What the Doctor gets up to when he’s not on television!
• Fan Art – The Doctor, aliens, monsters (bow ties are cool).
• Opinion Pieces – Get controversial.
• Puzzles – Su-Doc-Who (since 2005), crosswords, and more.
• Quizzes – I know what the Doctor did last summer!
• Surprises – But that would be telling…

But all these goodies have to come from somewhere – that’s where you come in. Send in your fan fiction or opinion pieces (1000 words max) or fan art (minimum 10cm x 10cm if posting, 300 dpi if emailing). If you have an idea for a puzzle or a quiz, contact the editor & pitch your idea. Not sure what we want? Take a look at E&P 97 for an idea. For fan fiction, fun character pieces will more likely get published than multi-monster “end of the world/universe” stories. Opinion pieces should be witty but not mean spirited. And if you see a newspaper clipping about the show or its stars, email a colour scan at 300dpi (or maximum 4mb)
