Day Events

The DWCA Brisbane Local Group has been in operation in its current incarnation since September 2003, just in time to celebrate the ABC's repeat season and the show's 40th Anniversary. The group's main activity is to meet bi-monthly at the Brisbane Square Library for screenings and discussion. The group is fairly informal, and is lead by Steve Glasby with help from number of coordinators, who all donate their time to keep things running. We aim to encourage fans of all ages in the greater Brisbane area to come together in a relaxed atmosphere and share their love of Doctor Who.
