Hi all,

A friend of mine just passed information about the The 2008 Tas Sci-Fi Convention, which will be held Wrest Point Casino Boardwalk Gallery at the end of the month, and thought some of you may be interested in it.

My friend met some of the guys involved and they are after people with collections/props/replicas etc to display. They seem to be putting a lot of effort in and are building various props to take to the exhibition (we saw full sized sand people, gremlins, etc). So if you have a prop out there you wish to have on display, have a look on the website. Also there is a chance to win a prize if you go to the convention in costume!

It is open the following times:

Friday 30th of May : 5pm to 10pm
Saturday 31st of May : 9am to 10pm
Sunday 1st of June : 9am to 6pm

Admission is $8 per person. You don't need a prop or a costume to see the convention
