Found out from the SMH Guide that The Catherine Tate Show will debut on the ABC this year. Catherine Tate is the eponymous Runaway Bride and here is what Michael Idato in the aformentioned SMH Guide said about it:
"The Catherine Tate Show (ABC)

In arguably the funniest British sketch comedy since Little Britain, Catherine Tate has a collection of engaging characters and memorable lines, including schoolgirl Lauren's smart-mouthed "Am I bovvered?" and Gran's "What a f- - -ing liberty!""

The series has apparently already been shown on UKTV for some time now. So it is good news for people like myself who haven't seen it yet.

According to Sunhill Fire at Gallifrey the ABC will be showing the series from season 2 instead of season 1. If people are still interested he said that the series will debut on the ABC on Wednesday April 4 at 9:30pm.

Season 2, Episode 1:
Hence it begins on the ABC.
Didn't like most of the sketches. The one I liked the most was the opening sketch with Lauren.
Also quite fun seeing the indifference with ginger people and quite a delight seeing Siobhan Redmond as head of the ginger shelter.

The next episode on April 11 comes second place in TV WEEK's highlights of the day.

Season 2, Episode 2:
I found this episode to be better than last week's opening of season 2.
I like the opening sketch of the nanny from the north (England). Quite funny.
Also funny is guessing the age of that woman.

Season 2, Episode 3:
This one was not bad. I liked the opening sketch of the female police inspector really being a working mother.

I don't find it funny.

I've stopped watching it.
(I missed it this week).

And just because CT was in TRB is no reason to continue watching. JMHO.

Because I saw Catherine Tate in The Runaway Bride, the idea of ever seeing her again horrifies me!

Been looking up at the May Optus Magazine and I found out the show has been scheduled Sundays at 6:30am from May 6. Presumably this is from the first season if people are interested in seeing the show from the beginning.

Season 2, Episode 4:
I have to say that the wedding reception shown here is better than the ones that I have attended and I really hated those wedding receptions.

Season 2, Episode 5:
My favourite sketch in this one was when Lauren kept on asking her teacher whether she (the teacher) is from the north and of her being farmer.

I also found the sketch of the online date to be dodgy.

Season 2, Episode 6:
A good end to season 2.
Loved the Lauren sketch in this one as she keeps on asking her teacher whether he is gay.
I also liked the sketch about the 5 Euros.

Just four nights before this episode I finally got to see the show from the start on UKTV. Saw the first episode so far and it is quite good.

Finished the first season on UKTV on the weekend and I like the first season over the second.

I agree, The Catherine Tate Show is very hit-and-miss. The Lauren sketches are generally genius, and the sketch with Daniel Craig was great too.

I loved the Comic Relief Skecth with Tennant,

"Did you park the TARDIS on a meter?" Laughing

Found out from the voiceover at the end of At The Movies last night that the 2005 Christmas special of The Catherine Tate Show will be shown on the ABC next week on Wednesday December 5 at 10pm.

Something to watch while waiting for her return to Doctor Who next year.

It wasn't part of this Christmas special.

I enjoyed this Christmas special more than I thought I would. Now I really looking forward to seeing Catherine back on Doctor Who next year.

Sketches I enjoyed include Derek, who denied being gay, being cast as the Christmas fairy in a play and Lauren and her friends singing "Shut Up".

This Christmas show was very good for my funnybone.
