The Council of Nicaea featured the Fifth Doctor, Peri and Erimem, released in July 2005 and written by Caroline Symcox who previously written Seasons of Fear alongside her husband Paul Cornell.

This is a very good historical and Caroline Morris as Erimem has been given very good material to work with. Very effective with the play presenting uncertainty here on whether Erimem would continue to travel with the Doctor and Peri as fighting for her beliefs was more important to her.

Also David Bamber is excellent as Emperor Constantine and I also enjoyed Claire Carroll as Fausta.
