I was very sad to read this news today.

I was priviledged to be involved with the only DWCA event to have Tristram as a guest in late 2004. Tristram was a very down to earth and extremely friendly man who was amazed and humbled that anyone would still be interested in his Dr Who work from so long ago. He offered me a place to stay if I was ever in Adelaide but sadly the opportunity never arose.

My thoughts go out to his lovely wife.

The final episode of Newstopia was dedicated to Tristram, and mentioned his work for Doctor Who.

With a burst of music from Devil's Planet, if I'm not mistaken.
Tristram's funeral was an outstanding celebration of his achievements and while his work for Doctor Who was cited, it was put in context as a fraction of his output.
