Second chapter of the I, Davros series from Big Finish. Released in October 2006.
Listening to this second instalment in the series (via the Davros Collection DVD set) I felt it lost a little of the punch that made the opening instalment Innocence a powerful listening experience.
Nevertheless it is still a gripping listen. Unlike Innocence Terry Molloy plays Davros throughout the entire chapter. Also good casting of Andrew Wisher (son of original Davros the late Michael Wisher) as Reston.
Also intriguing the beginnings of the Varga plant.
Although I am not surprised by the nature of Calcula's character it is still disturbing what she does towards the end of Purity.
