Have people seen the first part of this ongoing cartoon from Totally Doctor Who. Its not too hard to find and features Tennant and Freema Agyeman in their sereis three roles with Anthony Stewart Head Playing the villain. Its made by Cosgrove Hall and is similar in style to The Invasion and The Scream of the Shalka in terms of style.
For some reason this made me think of the Pirate Planet... Cool stuff, worth a look.
Is it a breach of ettiquite to mention you tube clips on this forum?? |

| I have seen it and thought that it was very well done, It looked spectacular. To be honest, and this might sound a bit lame, but I actually had a bit of trouble following it. Still good though. |

I had exactly the same reaction to it. "It's a bit like Pirate Planet".
I expect it's in TDW to get people over 12 to watch.
What I saw of episode one was pretty awful, except for the animation.
I read that all the mini-episodes may get a single mega-showing at the end of the current run of TDW. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see. At the very least you'd hope it got a DVD release. In this years boxed set perhaps?

I bought the DVD of this. I was excited about it becasue I really like animation (that animatation, not anime ) but it was a bit...ordinary. Some parts looked quite cool, like the walking oil rigs, but it wasn't marvelous.
Something that puzzeled me, on the box it says it's "featur length" and on the back it says it 82 minuets. But the it only went for a regualr 45 min.
What? |

Some DVDs include the length of their special features in the running time... I'm not saying that's a good thing, just what happens.
While this has never been broadcast on free-to-air TV in Australia, it is commercially available, so off to the non-spoiler forum this discussion goes... |

Not bad. I liked the style of animation, and the story was all right, if a bit hard to follow. I'm glad I watched it all in one hit. I don't think I'd bother buying it, though.
Though it was quickly glazed over, I can't help but be a little annoyed that Martha's Heart's Desire was the Doctor. As if there weren't enough hints already... |
