Read in today's Sydney Sunday Telegraph that Warner Bros has delayed the release of the next Harry Potter movie Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, based on the sixth book in the series, from November this year to July next year.
Earlier this year it was announced that the movie version of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows based on the seventh and final in the book series will be divided into two parts. Part 1 will be released in November 2010 and Part 2 in May 2011.
All three films have been or will be directed by David Yates. |

I have read that Johnny Depp has signed on to play Tonto in a new Lone Ranger movie. George Clooney is in talks to play the Lone Ranger.
Johnny Depp has also signed on to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in a fourth Pirates of the Carribean movie. |

Kenneth Branagh will direct the film version of Thor.
He accepted the assignment as he withdrew from directing in his West End production of Hamlet:

I have read that Isabel Lucas is in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
Isabel Lucas is well known to Home and Away viewers for playing Tasha Andrews. |
