1AM-2AM:
Upon seeing Lisa Miller with Mark Bishop I thought she was a baddie as well before finding out that she was an unwitting pawn. Mark Bishop is played by Michael Shanks who of course familiar with as Daniel Jackson in Stargate SG-1.
Very sad moment with Morris and Chloe as Morris tells her it's over.
I thought the moment with Jack and Audrey was very tender.
I guess rightly that James Heller would give Jack the cold shoulder. As well as this episode, I also been seeing William Devane in What About Brian.

2AM-3AM:
Oh my CTU gets invaded again. Had absolutely no clue that was where Cheng's men were heading and a bigger surprise was that they were looking for Josh.
So knew that Jack was not going to be in his cell for the entire hour.
What a shocker that Milo is shot dead.
Philip Bauer is finally back but briefly at the end and hence the explanation for Cheng's men looking for Josh.

3AM-4AM:
The CTU personnel fighting off Cheng's men was well played out.
Things are certainly heating up with the Russians.
I guess it should not be a surprise that Phillip Bauer would ask at the top- Daniels for Josh in return for the circuit board. Poor Jack and Josh.

4AM-5AM:
So sad that Karen got arrested. Knew she was going to be in trouble the moment that Bill showed his face to that agent.
What a shocker that explosion in Doyle's face.
Oh no, Chloe collapses.

5AM-6AM:
Very brave of Josh shooting Phillip.
Not surprise that Chloe is pregnant.
It is a shame that the last we see of Marilyn on this Day was a brief shot of her hugging Josh. Would have liked something more.
Amazing that Jack holds Heller at gunpoint only for Jack to break up with Audrey.
What a poignant ending to Day 6.

While 24 is on holiday, Dennis Haysbert's current show The Unit is back for its second season as it replaces 24 in its slot on 7 from Wednesday June 27 at 10:30pm.

Although 10 has not yet shown Kiefer Sutherland's Simpsons episode, he however did appear in the making of the Simpsons movie which 10 shown two nights ago.
Basically he said he had a good time doing the Simpsons.

Looks like I spoke too soon, as Andrew Mercado revealed in today's Sydney Sunday Telegraph that Simpsons episode will be on the coming Tuesday July 31 at 7:30pm.

Saw the The Simpsons' 24 parody in the episode called 24 Minutes:
Instead of the usual opening Simpsons title sequence, the episode begins with the 24 structure with the names of characters and the split-screens. Kiefer Sutherland does the narration as he does on 24 of when the episode took place. The time that the episode takes is in contradiction to the episode title as it takes place in a 30 minute period. The credits are in the style of 24.

Kiefer Sutherland for a few lines turns up as Jack and so does Mary Lynn Rajskub briefly as Chloe.

A pretty good effort although to be honest I am not sure that Jack usually a very serious character worked well into the Simpsons comedy.

Another thing this had been promoted as The Simpsons 400th episode but ended up being the 399th!

There is another 24 reference in House in the episode Whatever It Takes shown on 10 just hours ago:
House got in a CIA hospital and remarked: "Looks a lot better on 24."

Saw the Rules of Engagement episode Young and the Restless and it had a 24 reference. The reference has Russell (David Spade) saying to his friends to call Jack Bauer as he (Russell) is dating a girl who is 24!

Incidentally I first watched 24 just after I turned 24!

As to 24 itself Day 7 will not be shown until next year due to the recent writer's strike which delayed production.

Although Day 7 won't be shown until next year, a two hour TV movie will be shown later in the year which takes place between Days 6 and 7:

The article also reports that 24 co-creator Joel Surnow has left the show last month.

24 was briefly mentioned by Russell T Davies in the Torchwood Declassified episode Animal Pharm due to the fact that it was one of many things that guest star Alan Dale did.

The two hour TV movie that leads into Day 7 will debut in the US on November 23 (a date which should be familiar to Who fans):

Robert Carlyle! Razz

I always meant to get around to watching 24; it looks like this movie will be the kicker I needed.

Welcome to the 24 thread Sulp Niar.

There was a 24 parody on The Catherine Tate Show.
