SQUEEEEEEEEE!!! Andrew Hansen actually posted on this site... I wub, wub, wub the chaser!!
I personally wasn't offended by that song, it was quite obvious that the whole point was to make fun of the steryotype given to Whovians everywhere.
Oh, and it's clear that not everyone can access YouTube, (i can't damn school computers) so it's a shame that you can't see it. It's Hellafunny!
So, if you're wondering exactly what the song says...
Yo, Doctor Who is back
See if you can recognise this music
(Sings theme song) It’s the theme music
I can hardly step outside
It’s all that I can do to hide
The fact that I’m a fan of Doctor who
I even earned a special mention
When I dressed up at the fan convention
As a Cyberman from season 22
(Theme) I’m a fan of Doctor who
My friends say that I’m retarded
Just ‘cause I’ve built a model TARDIS
And pretend that I’m chasing daleks through space and time
(Exterminate, Exterminate)
I don’t know why, but people laugh
When I show them my autograph
I got from the actor who did the voice of k-9
It’s hard to get a screw
When you’re a fan of Doctor who
His female companions I love them all
They’re stuck all over my bedroom wall
My favourite ones are ace and Sarah Jane
And when I go to shop at the ABC
I don’t just stop at the DVDs
I also buy the books from the Doctor who range
All the girls say ‘Ew’
He’s a fan of Doctor who”
I’m always sure to ask the question
Out of all the Doctor’s who’s the best one
Whenever I meet up with a fellow fan
Was it William Hartnell, Peter Cushing,
Patric Troughton, John Pertwee,
Tom baker, peter Davidson,
Colin baker, Sylvester McCoy,
Christopher Eccleston, David tenant,
Richard E. grant- who only played the role in the 40th anniversary BBC interactive webcast adventure? Or Paul McGann
Oh, I couldn’t fit it into the song, but my favourite script editor is Robert Holmes
You don’t score much shmo
When you’re a fan of Doctor who
(Theme) it’s the theme music again
(TARDIS whooshing sounds)
I just copied out the subtitles on the DVD. That's the first place I saw it... and I quickly ran out to show my Mum going "He better be a Whovian..."
But you are, Mr Hansen. and I'm happy.
Thankyou for sharing your Love of Who with others who love it as much as you.
I can't wait till I can but Season 2 pt 1 on Wednesday...
HUGS!!!
Keep up the great work!! |

| You know, perverse as this may sound, I'd like to see a faceoff between the Crazy Warehouse Guy and Catherine Tate. Who do you reckon would win? |

No idea of the winner, but the loser would be sanity. |

OMG! A flipping Chaser!
I didn't see the song til War on Repeats, and I hate to say it Andrew, but I was one of the people who weren't so hot on the song, at first.
I was torn between shocked offence and dying of laughter. My sister (also a massive Chaser Fan, but a lesser Whovian) kept walking around the house going wa-ooooooooo, all flipping week! I think the worst part was seeing you in that outfit. Didn't do you justice mate! Oddly, Julian (was it Julian? Goldfish moment...) didn't look so bad in his.
I figured for you guys to take the mickey out of Who, one of you had to be a Whovian, but I had Julian or Craig picked as the fans. Maybe Chris, as you seem to be fond of saying you hate him in this seasons ads and the song on the first eppy yesterday (5th Sept 07).
I'd love to see you rip on the Trekkies! My dad has the (can't think of the right term...) of being both a Whovian and a Trekkie.
My sister demands I send this message:
I love you Andrew! *big hug* Awesome song! Please write another.
A big hug to all the Chaser boys, and please tell Chas to keep his pants on for the rest of this season! |

See, that's exactly what happened with me, and why I started the first forum. But what I didn't realise was that a few months later, I'd happily have that bedroom. And the model TARDIS. And the toy Dalek. And even the T-shirt. Which is why I've apologised to Andrew (who was so cool about the whole thing) and now everything's fine. |
